Course includes

Beginner Level
Entry-level courses for children, first certifications, and early underwater confidence.
Scuba Explorer
Swimming pool introduction for children aged 6 to 10.
A short confined-water introduction for children, designed as a first underwater experience in the pool with no certification attached.
Scuba Diver Course
2-day certification allowing dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
An internationally recognized starter certification combining theory, pool work, and 2 open water dives under instructor supervision.
Open Water Diver Course
3 half-day course with international lifetime certification to dive up to 18 meters.
A fuller beginner certification with pool development, open water dives, and a final boat-diving day for stronger underwater confidence.
Advance Level

Advanced Open Water Diver Course
Confidence-building course with 5 adventure dives over 2 to 3 days.
A skill-progression course focused on 5 adventure dives, including mandatory deep and navigation training plus elective specialties.
Minimum requirement: Open Water Level.
React Right
Theory-led emergency response, CPR, and first aid training.
Emergency-response classroom training covering CPR, first aid, injury assessment, bandaging, and splinting.
No prior licenses required.
Stress and Rescue Diver Course
Self-rescue and diver-assistance training over 2 full days.
A rescue-focused course designed to strengthen self-rescue, accident prevention, and practical diver-assistance skills.
License requirement: Open Water Certified.

Scuba Explorer
Pool-based introduction for children aged 6 to 10.
This introduction programme is dedicated to 6- to 10-year-old children and is conducted in the swimming pool only. They can experience diving in a confined water area or pool for the first time. This program is for both swimmers and non-swimmers.
This is a 1 hour session with approximately 15 minutes under water and a maximum depth of 2 meters. Kindly note, this is a non-certificate activity, therefore, no certificate or upgrade is applicable. Please note that there should be at least 12 hours surface break before taking a flight after the dive.
Scuba Diver Course
2-day certification to 12 meters under instructor supervision.
This is a 2 days course with an international and lifetime certification that allows participants to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. Scuba Diver license holders may only dive under the direct supervision of a Diving Instructor Professional.
On the first day, most of the time is spent on theory, the swimming and floating test, and confined water training. On the next day, participants complete 2 open water dives to 12 meters. If you wish to complete the theory session online, kindly get in touch with us.
Participants should know how to swim and should be in good health. A doctor's certificate is required for any participant who has experienced recent serious medical problems or surgeries. Please note that there should be at least 18 hours surface break before taking a flight after the final dive.
Open Water Diver Course
3 half-day certification progressing to boat dives up to 18 meters.
This is a 3 half-day course and comes with an international and lifetime certification. It allows participants to dive to a maximum of 18 meters with a buddy or another Open Water Diver.
On the first day, most of the time is spent in the swimming pool, including the swimming and floating test and an introduction to dive skills and practice. On the next day, participants complete the first 2 open water dives to 12 meters, and on the last day, 2 dives from the boat to a maximum of 18 meters. For the age group of 10 and 11, the maximum depth is 12 meters. If you wish to do the theory online before arriving at the dive center, kindly let us know.
Participants should have basic swim skills and should be in good health. A doctor's certificate is required for any participant who has experienced recent serious medical problems or surgeries. Please note that there should be at least 24 hours surface break before taking a flight after the final dive.
Advanced Open Water Diver Course
5 adventure dives designed to build confidence and extend your range.
This course is all about advancing your skills and increasing your confidence. It takes only 2 to 3 days to complete and consists of 5 Adventure Dives.
Deep diving to 30 meters maximum and Navigation are mandatory, and the remaining 3 dives can be chosen from Wreck, Perfect Buoyancy, Night, Science of Diving, Search and Recovery, Advanced Wreck Penetration, Decompression Diving, Waves-Tides-Currents, or Computer Diving.
Participants should know how to swim and should be in good health. A doctor's certificate is required for any participant who has experienced recent serious medical problems or surgeries. Please note that there should be at least 24 hours surface break before taking a flight after the final dive.
React Right
Emergency-response theory course and Rescue Diver prerequisite.
This course teaches you what to do in critical moments when a life-threatening emergency occurs. The course is theory only and takes up to half a day in our classroom.
Learn how to perform CPR, provide first aid that eases pain, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses, and practice bandaging and splinting. This course is a requirement to start the Rescue Diver Course.
Stress and Rescue Diver Course
Self-rescue and rescue-management training over 2 days.
This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills for self-rescue and how to help rescue others in need. Learn how to prevent and manage accidents and become more confident in your skills as a diver.
During this 2-day course, you will go through theory, skills in confined waters, and rescue scenarios with your instructor. Participants should know how to swim and should be in good health. A doctor's certificate is required for any participant who has experienced recent serious medical problems or surgeries.

Specialty Courses
Specific underwater skill tracks with their own dive counts and requirements.
A specialty course is a series of dives relating to a specific underwater activity. Courses such as Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Perfect Buoyancy Diver, Night and Limited Visibility Diver, and React Right help make scuba diving safer by learning new specific skills, developing better habits, and spending more time underwater.
Each specialty has its own number of dives required to earn that rating. Participants should know how to swim and should be in good health. A doctor's certificate is required for any participant who has experienced recent serious medical problems or surgeries. Please note that there should be at least 24 hours surface break before taking a flight after the final dive.
- Minimum age: 10 for Buoyancy and Night Diver.
- Minimum age: 10 for React Right.
- Minimum age: 15 for Deep Dive.

Dive Guide / Dive Master Course
The first step toward the professional track in diving.
During this course, you will learn how to guide certified divers and be introduced to customer service. You will learn all aspects of dive center business, how to maintain and service dive gear, and how to handle emergency situations.
You must master the swim and floating tests and assist the Dive Instructor during beginner and advanced level courses. A minimum of 20 dives is required to start the Dive Guide course, and before finishing you need at least 50 logged dives.
After qualifying as an SSI Dive Guide, you will be required to complete the Science of Diving program included in the course fee and practice leading certified divers until you qualify as SSI Divemaster. The SSI Dive Guide / Divemaster course is a paid internship program. A most recent medical certificate is mandatory, irrespective of your health condition. Please note that there should be at least 24 hours surface break before taking a flight after the final dive.
Terms and Conditions
Important requirements and course-completion conditions.
- The participant must read the Medical Questionnaire thoroughly before confirming the booking.
- If any response to the Medical Questionnaire is "YES", then a duly signed and stamped medical certificate must be submitted along with clinic contact information at least 7 days prior to your trip date. The certificate must clearly state "FIT TO DIVE" and validity must not exceed 12 months from the date of issue.
- If you are 75 years and older, you must submit the most recent medical certificate at least 15 days in advance to Global Scuba LLC so approvals can be obtained from the insurance company. This applies even when all medical questionnaire responses are NO.
- All Dive Courses, once the practical session has commenced, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- All Dive Courses once commenced must be completed within 90 days of registration date. Thereafter, an additional training fee applies as per Global Scuba LLC policy.
- If you are unable to complete the course within the fixed days and cannot allocate an additional day due to travel booking or another reason, we will issue a referral without any refund, allowing you to continue the course with any SSI affiliated center.
- An additional training day results in an additional fee of OMR 10 per day for pool sessions and OMR 25 for boat trips.
- In case of bad weather, the trip will be rescheduled based on availability. If you are in Oman as a tourist and unable to reschedule your travel, we shall refund the course fee for the unutilized section of the course, excluding the course material fee, certification fee, and taxes, if any.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation rules for explorer activities and dive courses.
Activities such as Scuba Explorer, Try Dives, and Basic Diver Programs follow similar cancellation terms to the Dive Trips Cancellation Policy.
- Cancellations received within 48 hours of the course will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the course fee.
- If cancelled after the e-learning stage, refund applies after deducting the course material fee, certification fee, and 10% cancellation fee.
- No refund applies once the practical session begins and the cancellation occurs for reasons that are not listed in the Terms and Conditions.
